SELECTIVE MOOSE HUNT

Once again Mr Ken Stafford of Oklahoma is holding yet another exceptional animal in his hands here with us at Peasley Hunts. Ken has hunted Mt lion, bobcat, lynx, mt goat , black bear and now Shiras moose with us. Just ask him why he keeps getting involved with us mountain crazies up here. this hunt is slightly different than that of our blue collar boys moose hunt in that it is conducted during the archery only season from sep 20-30. The actual hunt is conducted in somewhat the same manner as the blue collar boys hunt in that we will be driving up old fsr rds and glassing large cuts of timber that have been harvested by logging company's. We use 4 wheel drive pickups, quads and or side by sides to access most of the areas we will be hunting. our goal here is to harvest older more mature males of the species, this of course costs a little more, where our blue collar boys moose hunt is more affordable and its main goals are more directed to filling the yeti cooler, not that this cant be done on the selective moose hunt as well. here is a testimony from Ken that means the world to us.
